FunRec at Stoney Creek Community School is Back!!

We are happy to announce that we will be running Fun Rec Day Camp at Stoney Creek for six weeks this summer!

• 2024 Registration Fees: $230 per camper, per week
• Required FunRec T-Shirt: $15 each
• Optional Additional FunRec T-Shirts: $15 each

Registration will be opening April 26th – 7am!! 22nd – no time has been determined yet but do check for an update on the week of April 15th as we hope to have finalized this by then.

Registrations are processed on a first come, first served basis.

We are thrilled to announce we have made improvements to the Online Registration for this year’s Fun Rec camp. We think you’ll be pleased with the improvements.

You will need to have the information listed below readily available for each camper:

• BC CareCard / Health Card number
• Emergency Contact Information
• Allergies and Medical conditions
• Credit Card number or other form of online payment

Special Needs Program

Fun Rec is an inclusive camp and has spots for children with special needs. If you are registering a child with special needs (a child who already works with an educational assistant In school), please email to communicate with the Fun Rec staff at info@funrecdaycamp.com and coordinate the details of your child’s registration before submitting through the online application page.

PLEASE NOTE:

There were some unfortunate difficulties processing registrations and payments through our online system, as there were some software errors once the registration page went live. These issues have since been resolved however, if you were unable to submit a registration or payment, please email us directly at info@funrecdaycamp.com so we can collect your information and reserve your spots. If you were able to submit a registration, but were not asked to submit payment, we will reach out to you directly to organize payment. We appreciate your patience as we resolve things and are excited to have your campers at our camp this summer!

COVID-19 adaptations:

Due to COVID-19, we have had to restructure some components of our programs to ensure we can have as safe and fun a summer as possible. Please head to this page for more details on these changes.

PLEASE NOTE: The North East Burnaby Community Association (NEBCA) made the decision earlier this year to cancel all Fun Rec Day Camps and Rec’n’ Read programs for the 2020 summer season due to COVID19, following the advise of the Health Authority of BC.

If you have pre-registered already, you will receive a full refund. Our Fun Rec Coordinator will be contacting you to arrange for a full refund.
