Fun Rec Day Camp

Fun Rec Day Camp is a summer recreation program that has been offered to the children of this community since 1982. The Northeast Burnaby Community Association (NEBCA) has kept the cost of registration well below the cost of running this fun-packed program so that everyone in our community has the chance to attend summer camp.

At Fun Rec, we aim to help develop social and physical skills in a fun and safe environment. Activities include but are not limited to sports, crafts, music, cooking, and drama. Children who attend must be between the ages 5 (having completed kindergarten) and 13 (having completed grade 7).

Our camp is run out of Stoney Creek Community School from 9am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. During camp we have use of the class rooms, the Community Room, the gymnasium, a kitchen and the surrounding fields and playgrounds. During the week we run organized cooking activities, games, and crafts, with small outings to places around the community. We conclude each week with a camp wide themed Special Event, and a full camp field trip!

Registration is online and will be ongoing until all spaces have been filled. For late registrants, please go to the registration page and add your camper(s) to the waiting list.
