For over 40 years, Northeast Burnaby Community Associoation’s Fun Rec Day Camp has provided affordable summer programming for children and families in Northeast Burnaby. Your donation helps ensure that every child can participate, regardless of financial barriers or support needs.

Contributions support camp subsidies, one-on-one inclusion support for children with disabilities, educational and recreational outings, and safe, engaging summer experiences for local families.

Every donation stays in our community and directly impacts the children and families we serve.

What Your Donation Can Do

Every donation helps ensure children in the Stoney Creek area of Northeast Burnaby and surrounding area can experience summer camp.

Provides one full week of camp for a camper who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial barriers.

Covers the cost of Rec’n’Read for one camper, our 4-week summer literacy program that helps children build literacy skills while staying active and engaged throughout the summer.

Covers the additional support costs for one camper in our One-on-One Support Program, helping campers with extra support needs fully participate in camp.

Sponsors five weeks of camp for children requiring financial assistance.

Provides ten weeks of camp for campers in need, helping multiple children access a safe and enriching summer experience.

Helps cover transportation and admission costs for 100 campers plus support volunteers and staff to participate in a weekly out-trip, creating memorable experiences and opportunities for exploration.

Funds the additional support costs for two weekly One-on-One Support campers for seven weeks, ensuring multiple children with higher support needs can participate safely and successfully alongside their peers.

Creates a transformational impact by helping fund multiple areas of camp programming, including financial aid, inclusion supports, transportation, field trips, equipment, and program enhancements.

We currently have requests for 32 weeks of financial aid support from families seeking assistance with camp registration costs. Every donation directly helps more children access camp this summer.
